@AidanOxley @Aiden Oxley Do you know if it's possible to make percpective? Like is it possible to make it so you are flying a spaceship, you are flying over a planet with asteroids. While you are flying, you fly past the asteroid quite fast but the planet moves slowly, creating the 2D perspective effect. Do you know what I mean? Can you please reply, Becuase I have no clue XD. I don't even know if it's possible.

Of course it's possible! There're so many games like that. You could make the character move fast at 5 meters, but still have the planet moving at a speed of like 3 meters.

Oh and what I mean was like the planet moves slower than the player does. With joysticks. So I have my joystick and I go past a planet. I don't want the planet to move at the same speed as me player. Thus creating a perspective effect.

How about the joystick moves the player fast and the planet slow? Of course it's possible. It's just 2 joystick behaviors!

Wow I am not getting ANY notifications when anyone says @Aidan Oxley, yeah it's possible and quite simple, e.g if you have a joystick controlled player on a birds eye view game, all I would do is make the background also joystick controlled with the same joystick but move slower than the player. The only problem is if the background isn't big enough and you keep moving you will eventually lose the background object, so I would have more than one and when one leaves the screen it moves to the other end or something.

Yeah but there's a problem. If I run into any objects, the planet for example, moves weirdly and looks unnatural. Then when you look at it, the perspective look just goes. Because your brain knows that it's just an illusion or something. :(

The background objects that have perspective effect are only scenery, they should not be allowed to interact with the player or anything that's not background.

Oh, ok then I could probably do it using maths based off the player's position, if you mail me a project with the background already there I think I can get it to move right, my mail is in the comments further down.

Is this your first project? Looked at your profile and you've been member for 12 months but this is the only thing you've submitted. Also I branched it and saw that your loading screen isn't real, it just waits 1.5 seconds for nothing, when and if you get Pro then you can add real loading screens but fake loading screens are a bit annoying waiting for nothing. CodingPhoenix the planet is there I found it while branching 😛 level 3 (lots of asteroids) to the left.
