In this version I added new graphics in preparation for player vs AI,there loads of stuff you can't see yet in the background but will be unlocked soon.i also fixed a bug where the ball would go under the net and score a point,that's not possible now.

Wow, I'm really impressed, good work. I really liked the retro music, it fitted the game perfectly. I liked the wide variety of basketballs you could choose from, although, perhaps you could add some power ups or advantages for each ball. I also loved the graphics, along with the neat animations.

Finally got a chance to play this. Pretty good game! I really enjoyed playing it.
A few suggestions:
-I feel the time is a bit too long. Maybe make it have easy, medium, hard modes where they each have a different timer (hard having much less time). -When the timer runs out I felt like the game broke. Maybe make a popup saying "times up!" and show your score. It would be cool if it also said if I beat the high score or not.
-The green bar/gauge is not very clear to me. I'm not sure exactly what it's trying to tell me. I know green is good, and try to shoot in that area, but I don't know why. I think it should be flipped, so the green part is facing towards the net, and maybe have it only horizontal not on an angle.
-The ball choice should be your second menu, not your first one.
-I feel the "boot" button is kind of useless. It makes it harder, and I don't get any extra points for using it. I would suggest giving more points for boost, and maybe a different particle effect to make it seem more special.
-combos and multipliers. I think your game would be much more interesting if you had combos. So if you get a few in a row, it creates a combo, and points are worth more. Miss, and your combo resets to zero.
Any ways, just my few suggestions :). Cool game so far! Looking forward to seeing more of it.

Thanks for the feedback,I will try out some of your suggestions at the weekend.the boost button allows for shots to be taken twice as fast.but combos sounds like a good idea,not sure I know how to do that but I'll try it out.

Even those the boost button makes it twice as fast, it also make it much harder. The trade off is not really worth it (at least not when I was playing).
For combos, you can create a counter to keep track of your combo. So a box container to store the combo, and every time you get one in add one to the counter (box container). If you miss, make the counter zero. Then every time you get one is also do an IF. IF counter =>3 multiply points by 3. Then do an IF for each possible combo you want.

Awesome, really cool game! Only one minor thing I found that button is too small to press sometimes I wouldn't select it when I intended to, but it's an easy fix if you would like to change it. Add a large empty object (in another layer so you won't have trouble editing later) and on started touching? Instead of the dot select the empty object.
