I beat the CPU twice. It was ridiculously easy, just saying. Also, you should add a shop.

You can Change how difficult the CPU is in settings, I am working on a shop at the moment.

It's basically over when you lose both of your arms. Also you can't attack when someone is behind you. You should make a block button, create your own buttons and joystick, and maybe something like a color picker for your character.

Good job, you read my mind ;).

Epic fun game but you should have online multiplayer
January 29, 2016
You can't do that on Hyperpad. Not yet atleast.

Nice! I like this game! I loved the boxy - ness of it. Clean interface too!

Ooh, this is a nice fighting game! It's pretty fun with a friend.

These are some really good ideas. I will try to add as many as possible. By the way, I figured out how to get online multiplayer properly functioning but it means recreating the entire game on scratch.mit.edu and then loading it to phosphorus.github.io, I used to play around on my friends iPad (who had pro) so I know how things work on HyperPad. Thanks for the ideas though :)

Well the idea isn't really new so you should probably add some unique stuff. You should also figure out a way to play your friends without having to use the same iPad, I'm sure it's possible, just some insane great creativity and logic.
But right now you shouldn't focus on this aspect yet. There're way better games on many devices that undergo the same theme so you need to make different moves, maybe a training base, advance technique, you know all that stuff. You should make unique moves like double tapping and pinching the screen and different cool effects to go with this. You should add some cool animation like being squeezed and jumping up in the air and landing on the persons head and taking them down. You should also make it 3D because that'll allow you to make way more cool animations. You should just draw some things in 3D and then make sure that people cannot tell that it's not all really 3D. This may have potential but you'd really have to work on it visually and make way more so that people don't get bored. For graphics I use Pixely. This is really good because I can't draw very well and it allows me to just do it on pixel grid paper. You could keep enlarging it and making the angles very detailed so people don't know it's really just square pixel blocks.

From what I've heard, multiplayer may be possible soon.
January 27, 2016
How would that work? I hope you don't have to be a pro to use multiplayer.
January 27, 2016
I already have 1.12 and when I use open url it says become a pro blah blah blah. I am sick of it.

Maybe he could use google analytics and track the data and then have like a get analytics type behavior. Idk there's probably a way. Maybe not but he can take it beyond Hyperpad, too.

HTTP requests will be a PRO feature. There are a few reasons for this. These are intended for "hardcore" type users. They are very low level and require a bit of technical understanding, and other services to actually use them. You need to set up a lot of behaviours manually, you require your own server, and you may have to access to some 3rd party API. A non pro, is less likely to have the necessary requirements to use these. Additionally, some features (like http requests) go outside the scope of the creation part. They go a step beyond what you actually need. If this something you truly need (and not want), then a pro subscription is not such a big deal, plus you get more additional benefits.
As for Open URL. Again there are some reasons.
We're always happy to talk to our users, and very willing to make changes. Your opinions matter, and can impact our development and overall business. Fill out the feedback form and we can discuss in further details if you want.
Lets try to keep the rest of the discussion about this project, rather than the future hyperPad features :).

@mlkpad14 Thats not really possible. As it is now, there is absolutely no way to have hyperPad communicate with another iPad. The next update is set to have http requests. This will definitely open up some possibilities.
January 27, 2016
Will that mean you can make a game where you can host a server and let others join it. Minecraft is a good example.
January 27, 2016
Ok sorry everyone. I guess you'd have to use a different program or something before publishing to the App Store then. I thought it was possible but never asked or tried it out.
January 27, 2016
Not really. The HTTP requests allow you to connect to a server, and retrieve or send data in a json string. You can be very creative on what you're actually sending or receiving.. But the technology is typically for small bursts of data. Like sending your score to the server, and getting a list of high scores back.
That's why this really isn't designed for realtime multiplayer. There would be a lot of lag. Even if you put a timer on this and have it running every 0.1 seconds, there will still be a lot of delay. None of your players will be in sync, and everyones positions will be off. So, if it's a shooting game, you could be shooting at someone who appears in front of you on your screen, but they have already moved on their own.
For more turn based multiplayer games (like clash of clans?) where there is some delay between each players decision, the http request feature could theoretically work. But it's not easy! You would need a server running custom software to be able to handle this. So it requires a bit of programming.
again please lets keep the discussion about this game not future hyperPad features!

I have another $20 to spare. I was thinking of saving about $10 for this feature.
