A flappy bird game for the Onebutton challenge.(old contest)
Tap the screen to flap, avoid spikes and beat your score!
Spikes gradually get to their closest point to each other...from there it's how long you can servive without making a mistake!!!

I fixed a few bugs that were left....I'm still having problems with overlays but t I'm talking to hyperpad about it....when I fix that I think I'm done with this game and I'll work just on mystic square to finish a few things....then a new game! Anyways......

Yeah, but you really can't feel much change. I played till 60 and the skill level was relatively the same. :(

It's definitely a copyrighted song. It's not the original version, but It's a remake of it. Unless you're going to release it to the App Store, I don't think it's a huge issue keeping it.

Yea it's best if you make your own music with garage band.. And draw your own graphics, cause you can get into huge trouble if you use somone else's art or music, I think it's fine to use hyper pads graphics tho

I mean yea it would, but you can't do in app purchases using the hyper pad app........ Make sure you don't have too many adds , like maybe 1 every 5 plays

I was thinking I would have a full screen ad when you lost and it says game over. Also I think in app purchases is going to be added in a future update...i saw that In the roadmap.

To the App Store?! But there're already so many flappy games? Maybe you can add your own twist to it? I really like your graphics design maybe do something visual. You could make some pipes move and some shake and like different power-ups, but please don't basically copy the original. There's enough of that already.

Well, you could put in like blocks that you can go through in pipes and maybe even make those the power ups. Also you could again make the shaking pipes and the moving pipes, maybe even different modes like easy, medium, and hard. You could include like an achievements section for different scores and records that runs on loaded saved values or something. Idk just throwing out ideas here.

I think it would be best if you used your own sprites for the spikes, barriers and background. I don't know, I believe it just makes games look more authentic. Also, I think you had to use your own sprites for the OneButton Challenge, you'll have to check just to be sure though. I know this games called Flappy Bird Extreme, but damn it's hard. I would recommend that you spread the spikes further apart, as well as fixing the characters hops. This will make the game a little more fair as at the moment it feels like each hop is different and not the same height as before, making it, on some occasions, impossible to dodge the spikes.

Just some suggestions. Good luck!

Yeah I didn't have time to make my own graffics, but I asked hyperpad and they said it was fine to use the downloadable assets...I would like to use my own in the future though! I am working on the final touches on an update were the spikes start farther apart and get gradually closer(to a certain point). Also if you tap fast the bird will go faster each time is how it works, otherwise it can be hard to get high enough fast enough. Thanks for commenting..hope this helps. I don't mind it being hard, as I said my game Meteor is very hard until you get used to it. But if you want to make it easier, yes the spikes are what make it hard and moving them further apart would be easier.

Ok...I'm thinking I'll make them be farther apart then gradually closer as the game progresses....and possibly the game will go faster with timescale as the game goes on!!!
