Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom. The place where The Princess is kidnapped on a regular basis by a draconic turtle. Mario is 99% of the time her highness' saviour, and usually dies 7 times a day.
Super Mario Run is gone and NSMBiOS is here. All music by Nintendo, 99% of sounds by me, and 100% of sprites are by me.

New running cycle. Instead of the old 3-frame-run, it's now a 7/8 frame cycle.

It feels a lot more like a sonic game.Give more time to explore the levels. Mario scientifically is faster than sonic but Mario should not be like this.He is more about exploration and secrets but I do like your graphics and sounds even if you didn't make some of them. It could go on the App Store if you change the sound and the characters just not the art style

I think that you'll find that doesn't isn't spelt "dousnt" Learn some English. 1) I made these sprites. 2) they may be re-coloured, but they were 100% by me. 3) no need for the smart remark. The Mona Lisa thing isn't needed. Take your comment and put it some place else, kid. Don't reply to any of my games. This is a polite notice.

It's a pretty decent Mario game now 🙂. Maybe increase gravity slightly (maybe from -25 to -50) or otherwise decrease the force applied and the starting jump power, since small jumps still require me to slow down, but these things are optional and the game could work as it is.

The game in developer mode in a nutshell: Mario starts off really slow and gradually gets quicker over a period of 1 second. Hopefully that'll work!

@Jack8680 press kill when starting a level (you only have to do this once, as it saves that you've done it before. That stops Mario having to gradually get faster over a period of time. It also means you don't need to stop when a little jump is done.

The arcs of the coins don't really match the way mario jumps a lot of the time. You could use a small jump height and use while touching, apply force in the y direction to make it jump depending on how long the player holds the screen. After clearing the first level it got stuck on a loading screen. The bowser battle seemed to glitch the first time, bowser was making really small jumps that I couldn't get under, but when I died and tried again suddenly the jumps were way higher and it was easily possible.

It feels a bit broken, Mario doesn't automatically vault over small obstacles or climb up ledges, and the jump Height should be based on how long the screen is held.

Ok. Then I may have to cancel SMR and make a brand new SM game. That being said, Lil' Joey will be updated to my standard, so it's not a bad game.

If. And thats a HUGE if, I can fix it, then you'll enjoy it. And if not, I have tried relentlessly. I will make a space tonight from 9:00 and try and fix it. whenever it is out (Thursday night, as I am working on Thursday) I don't know.

I liked the graphics.

As a super MARIO run remake, it's not very good. But that's ok because it has the basics of a fun platform game like regular Mario.

I'd skip the whole run part and make this a unique Mario game instead.

Or you can add a auto running element. That's help :).

Other than copying the level, it doesn't really feel like Mario run. Also, the exit to iOS button is kind of pointless, although a funny bug to make a behaviour execute itself lol. Instead of using move for autorun in future updates, you might be better off removing friction and setting Mario's velocity once, that way you can detect collisions with small obstacles for vaulting over, and Mario won't walk through/into walls.

Yeah, I do. But it's kind of hard as there is no behaviour for auto run now. I have made it so you have free movement, therefore, too have more fun. Right now, I am working on a way to fix that issue and will take a while to do so, so in the meantime, have fun with the game that I made for you to test out, as this is a Beta test.

You could use the move behaviour and a timer. Every 0.1 seconds MARIO moves 1 across
