BrickBuster is based on the classic Breakout video game introduced by Atari in 1976.
Our version contains 3 difficulty levels which influence the size of the paddle and the initial starting speed of the ball.
This is my first HyperPad Hub project, and as such I have only used stock assets from the HyperPad library.
Although you can play an infinite number of levels (until you lose your 3 lives), this initial release only includes 4 level designs. On beating the 4th level, we then cycle back to the 1st level again, but the ball speed will continue to increase with each level beaten.
Should there be any interest, I’ll update the game with additional levels. In the meantime I hope you enjoy this initial version!

This is great! Very similar to the original, great first hub submission. Look forward to seeing more projects from you! Theres a video on youtube called "Juice it or Lose it", its a talk at some game dev conference. They start with a simple breakout game, then take it up a notch with some "juice" check it out, you might get some ideas.
